If you are interested in our hospital, you are welcome to visit us.
Attention:
No person under the influence of alcohol is permitted on the hospital grounds.
Children under 16 are not permitted without adult supervision.
Private visit:
You can drop in at our hospital without an appointment during the daytime
hours(9:30-16:00).
Individuals and groups less than five people will be given a tour of the
hospital wards.
Persons without an appointment may have to wait up to 20 minutes for an
available staff member.
Appointments are required for all persons who do not speak Japanese and
who are not accompanied by an interpreter.
Dr. Michio Takemura, the hospital director, is available to meet with guests
who make appointments in advance of their visit to the hospital. Dr. Takemura
speaks both Japanese and English and is usually available Monday through
Thursday during regular hospital hours.
Group visit:
Appointments are required for groups of five or more persons, and are scheduled
Monday through Thursday during regular hospital hours only when Dr. Takemura
is available to meet with the group. They will be given a mini-lecture
by the director and a tour of the hospital wards.
Akagi-kohgen Hospital is only three minutes
from Akagi I.C. of Kan-Etsu highway. You
can see the signboard on the left-hand side
of the road at the exit of the interchange.
